TILT
TILT is a hair drying system designed to aid people with limited arm mobility. Its ergonomic hair dryer is made to reduce any further wrist and arm fatigue, allowing the user to dry the conventional way, while the wall dock provides a hands free feature to assist them with drying and grooming their hair. This frees up one arm to brush and comb the hair. With its vertical and 360° reach, it will help the user reach parts that they find hard too.
Tilt has been awarded the Red Dot Award Design Concept 2022
Conventional hairdryers of today still lack the essential ergonomics and usability. They are bulky, heavy, cluttered with wires, and have too many attachments to swap out.
With the need of both hands to fully utilitse the efficiency of a hairdryer, none of them in the market are suitable for people with certain disabilities where they do not, or have limited functions in one arm.
People with frozen shoulders, stroke paralysis patients and arm amputees often have a hard time drying and grooming their hair using conventional hairdryers.
